How's it take 5 minutes for me to be happy with it but 100 guys "tried everything" and can't help each other towards a solution? F off with that BS. If you've tried everything, you would've found it.Įither you're lying, or your expectations are wrong. IMO, it isn't a bug, just a better physics model that better models the real world cars.Įveryone with wheel problems has "tried everything". If you have ever seen in-car footage of a driver's footwork in a car with a sequential gearbox, you will notice that they often give the throttle a 'tap' during braking so that they can bring the engine speed up and allow the gearbox to downshift. So you have to decrease your road speed even more when downshifting from third to second to ensure the gearbox downshifts. If the gearbox is not a synchronised gearbox (as, I think, is the case with most sequential shift gearboxes), then you have to match engine speed with road speed to allow the gears to mesh together. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong here, but I think it is the new physics model in Pcars 2. I hope all the bugs we report here gets a look by the devs :) This is a very good game, I love the new physics. Also, when the car is stopped, clicking through the gears works as it should be. This usually kills my braking before corners in all paddle shifter cars. Have to click the paddle shifter multiple times to make it shift down. It's usually the third to second it refuses to do. The real problem in my end is that the game refuses to downshift quite often under braking when using the paddle shifters on a sequential gearboxed car. Oh and by the way, there's a graphical glitch in the GT86, the car's digital speedo and display appear black in cockpit view. Other cars I've played with have not shown this behavior. Problem has not appeared on the track for me, only the pits so the game is playable to me. When I click Start to begin the session, it goes back to the middle. The wheel just wants to go to the left on its own. It happens when the game loads and view goes to the pits.

I have yet to test all the cars nor all the tracks but at the moment I have experienced the wheel-to-the-left problem only in the GT86.
#HOW TO USE LOGITECH G920 ON ASSETTO CORSA PC UPDATE#
Fix could be implemented through an update to Logitech Gaming Software or directly to the game. This is a pretty popular wheel so WMD and Logitech should collaborate on this one to locate any problems and fix them. I registered so I could share my problems.
